Dance, dance and let it go

Relax

Concentration was high this afternoon

Music

Follow the rhythm, release

Everything slows down

Let your arm, your legs, your whole body move slowely

It can’t harm you

Nobody sees you

It accelerates again

Dance, dance and let it go

All in one

In Elkaar - L'un dans l'autre

”The only record of a dancer’s art lies in the other arts. A dancer’s instrument is his body bounded by birth and death.

…

A painting or a work of sculpture can give the world another artist’s concept of a dancer.

…

Dance is an absolute. It is not knowledge about something, but is knowledge itself. In that sense it is like music. It is independent of service to an idea, but is of such highly organized activity that it can produce idea.”

Martha Graham
